Epoxy Systems

Epoxy coatings are very versatile, used for commercial, industrial and residential, inside, outside, marine applications, secondary-containment-type situations, garage-floor coatings, warehouse coatings.  They provides light reflectivity as they are usually bright colors.  Epoxies come in an array of colors but the epoxy itself is referred to as a copolymer and it’s formed from chemicals that are commonly referred to as a resin "A"for the compound and "B" for the hardener or the activator.  There’s a chemical reaction.

Versatility

A homeowner might just ask for an epoxy coating in there garage floor but the versatility of these particular products is almost limitless. They can even be used for a heavy duty repairs like reinforced with carbon fiber just as if you would reinforce concrete with a 6 fixed rebar. Some other Polyesters type of epoxies have thermal setting resins that are also used for glass reinforcements and plastics and this chemistry applied to floors. Most epoxies have excellent adhesion resistance, chemical and heat resistance.

Diversity and Functionality

They’re are used extensively as well as a protective coating.  They’re also used in industrial tooling applications on floors, they provide good chemical resistance, light reflectivity and serve that protect your barrier over concrete substrates both protective and decretive.
