Concrete Polishing
Concrete Polishing has grown significantly in popularity over the last decade, especially in Glendale, as more people recognize that a concrete slab can be transformed into a stunning finished floor. Many assume that concrete must be covered with tile, laminate, or epoxy coatings, but with today’s advanced polishing techniques, the concrete substrate itself becomes a durable and attractive flooring solution.
Polished concrete is an excellent alternative to traditional coverings such as terrazzo, natural stone, granite, and marble, providing comparable beauty with less maintenance. Large retailers like Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart, and major department stores have adopted Polished Concrete Flooring due to its abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, and long lifespan. It’s also slip-resistant, with a high coefficient of friction, making it both safe and practical. Additionally, polished concrete helps reduce dust mites, allergens, and mold growth, problems that often occur under carpet or other coverings.

The Process

Our concrete polishing process begins with treating the surface with a water-based densifier, which penetrates the pores of the concrete, reacts with the material, and hardens the surface. Using a series of progressively finer diamond grinding pads, we polish the floor in multiple steps, starting with low grit and moving up to high grit levels.
Typically, a surface isn’t considered “polished” until it reaches at least 400 grit with a minimum of 5 grinding steps. Most floors are finished at 800 grit, but we can polish up to 1,500 or even 3,000 grit for an ultra-reflective, high-gloss surface.
For enhanced aesthetics, we can incorporate dyes and stains to add rich color to your polished floor. We also offer decorative saw cutting, stenciling, and sandblasting, enabling us to add logos, radial lines, borders, grids, and custom patterns. The design possibilities are virtually limitless.
No Limitations

Polished concrete floors in Glendale are low-maintenance, durable, and environmentally friendly. Instead of covering your concrete with materials that require additional energy and resources, polishing the existing slab offers a sustainable, green flooring solution. This approach reduces waste and provides a sleek, modern look.
Polished concrete is also ideal for large warehouses and commercial spaces because its reflective surface enhances natural and artificial lighting, reducing the need for additional lighting and helping lower energy costs. Builders and architects often prefer polished concrete because it combines functionality, cost-efficiency, and design flexibility.
